One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from September 04, 1919. Receipt recipient is Aug Sieg and has seven (7) items purchased (one half (1/2) gallon (written as gal) Vinegar, one (1) Tooth Paste, five (5) soap, one (1) butter, six (6) Nutmeg, one (1) cloves, one (1) Mustard (written as Must.) seed, one (1) ????? and one (1) Soap). Aug Sieg paid seventy cents ($0.70). Receipt is rectangular, has black ink and written in pencil. The top reads: BOUGHT OF (printed in capital letters and underlined); Firnbach and Raupp; DEALERS IN; GENERAL MERCHANDISE (printed in capital letters); Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Sold to; Address. The bottom reads: If there are any Errors in this Bill Return it at once. The number forty five (stamped as 45) is stamped in red ink in the lower middle of the receipt.
