Rectangular crate with wooden slat base floor and roof. 0.5 inch diameter dowel bars with 2-inch space between the bars. Sides are reinforced with twisted wire; roof has 12-inch by 12- inch hinged lid. Museum record states this was used to take chickens to market in 1940.
