Unlined handwritten letter in purple ink about the weather, not returning to Buffalo Grove for the Easter holiday and camp life. Envelope addressed to "Miss Josephine Raupp Arlington Heights, Illinois USA" from "Pvt. Bernard Raupp US Army AEF." With black US military postal express stamp in the upper right corner. Back of envelope postdated April 23, 1919.
