Two page correspondence on tan paper with tan envelope. Unlined handwritten letter in black in about his health, the weather, and recent lack of activity in the service. Back of the second page has anote on four lines: "Ok censored by George S Hawthorne 2nd Lt 123 M.J. [Porr?]." Envelope addressed to "Miss Josephine Raupp Arlington Heights Illinois, USA" from Pvt. Bernard Raupp US Army AEF France. With black US military postal express stamp in the upper right corner and purple censor stamp on the lower left.
