Description
Two page correspondence on tan YMCA letterhead paper with envelope. Printed at bottom of paper: “help your country by saving, write on both sides of this paper.” Writing on three sides. Second page has "With the colors" stamped at the top. Dated April 9, 1918. Lined handwritten letter in black ink about the weather, Houston sports teams, night school, and splitting the company up.
Envelope has YMCA logo in the left corner addressed to "Miss Josephine Raupp; Arlington Heights, Ills." Postmarked Houston, TX; April 10, 1918. With purple two cent adhesive stamp in upper right corner.
