Was given as a premium for opening an account by a local bank during the 1970s. The Buffalo came in brown or white and it was so popular that after the bank stopped giving them out, customers kept requesting buffalos until the bank gave them out again. A buffalo like this was even presented to President Ford when he visited Buffalo Grove in 1976.
