Hardcover book with leather wrapped boards. Gold illustration of Mary on the front cover, gold cross on the back cover. Printed on cotton rag paper, 2406 pages. First 100 pages are detached with complete loss except for right column of page 88 that has inclusion bonded to the front pastedown. Book seems to contain religious text for every day of the year. Handwritten inscriptions in pencil on back end paper dates 1861- 1862. Laid in pamphlet dated 2 April 1920 commemorating Clara Lillinger's induction into a Christian mother's organization.
