Description
One (1) brass dual pan balance. The original catalog record (1997) states this has a "Statue of an eagle on top", but this was missing when cataloged in Past Perfect in 2019. There are three chains connecting to the circular pans that hold the pans up to a brass rod for weighing between the pans. The chains are connected to punched holes in the brass at equal intervals around the pans. The three chains all meet and come together to connect at one point on the rod. The rod is flat on the edges and slowly becomes rounded towards the center. Theere is a metal knob in the center of the rod.
