Description
Cap badge for soldiers in the Middlesex Regiment (Royal Army). Made from 2 metals, brass and whitemetal. Depicts a brass crown and motto of The Prince of Whales with three plumes of whitemetal. The outermost section is olive branches. The bottom is a scroll which reads Middlesex Regt. Between the scroll and crown post, "Albuhera". In 1916 they changed to badge to be all brass for economic reasons.
