Hardcover book with leather wrapped boards and all edges gilt. Brown leather spine and corners with dark brown leatherette covers. Gilded title: "Book of the Fair" with gilt illustration of a domed exhibit hall. Volume 1. Maroon marbled pastedowns. Contains account of the exhibits at the Columbian Exposition at Chicago in 1893. Black and whtie illustrations and images throughout, 508 pages.
