Building Friendships

Besides providing education, health resources, and scholarships to the community, The Nurses Club was a space for female nurses to socialize and build relationships with other women in their profession.  There would be membership parties and gatherings throughout the year, outside of meetings.

Pictured above is the membership party from September 1971, hosted at one of the member's home. The Club was a way for nurses at all points in their profession to learn from one another, share ideas, and make new friends in their community.
